In the years that GALAXY has been playing together, I've noticed that our clients frequently have the same questions. Here are the answers to some of those common questions that you might be wondering about. If you have other questions or need more information, please don't hesitate to call or email me. I'd enjoy hearing from you.

1. Is GALAXY more than one band?
No. Although you might see GALAXY in multiple places in one night, we are just one band. We are made up of 40 players and 13 lead vocalists. All of the members tour with me all over the world. Most of the members of GALAXY have been with us for over l0 years... some between 15 and 25 years. We all rehearse together and every member knows all the GALAXY arrangements.
2. Do you draw from a pool of players?
No. Again, most of our players and vocalists have been singing with GALAXY for a long time. When you hire GALAXY they are only GALAXY members playing your event!
3. I heard you never know who you are getting when you hire GALAXY. Is that true?
GALAXY Band is made up of the most qualified musicians and vocalists in the country. You are welcome to request a specific vocalist. Note: Quality and GALAXY are synonymous. People fly us to New York, LA, Miami, all over the world! We play for corporate events and weddings etc. Musically, we bat a thousand with the clients. We cater to your needs!
4. What does the band wear?
We always wear tuxedos with white shirts and bow ties, unless requested otherwise.
5. Are we charged for set-up time?
No. We set up before anyone arrives. You choose the start time for the band.
6. How many breaks in an evening?
There are two 11 minute breaks in a three hour period. It goes by pretty quickly. We do play CDs on the breaks. We fit the breaks into the natural flow of your event.
7. Can we burn a CD to be played on the breaks?
Yes.
8. Do you have a song list?
No. Because it's truly infinite to what we can cover. We usually are prepared to cover everything from Big Band to 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's, to current music.
9. Can we request songs?
Yes. Especially First Dances, Father-Daughter and Mother-Groom dances. You can also make special requests for music you like or music you don't like. I prefer you to e-mail that to me no later than two weeks prior to the event.
10. Can you play continuously?
Yes. But there is a charge for that...
Please call or e-mail me with any other questions.
Thank you,
Lenny Klinger
